La salud sexual y reproductiva de las mujeres indigenas en oaxaca: una experiencia compartida
La salud sexual y reproductiva de las mujeres indígenas en Oaxaca: una experiencia compartida examines the lived experiences, challenges, and collective strategies of Indigenous women in Oaxaca as they navigate their sexual and reproductive health. Drawing on community-based research, testimonies, and intercultural dialogue, the book highlights systemic barriers such as limited access to healthcare services, linguistic and cultural discrimination, and the persistence of gender inequality. It also documents the resilience and agency of Indigenous women as they build networks of mutual support, advocate for culturally respectful care, and assert their rights within both traditional and institutional settings. This work offers an important perspective on how health, identity, and autonomy intersect in the daily lives of Indigenous women, emphasizing the need for inclusive, rights-based, and culturally grounded reproductive-health policies.
