Deliberative Democracy & Human Rights
This work investigates the relationship between deliberative democracy and the protection of human rights. It argues that democratic decision-making should not only reflect majority rule but also ensure that minority rights and fundamental freedoms are respected. By linking deliberative processes with human rights principles, the text emphasizes how inclusive dialogue, justification of policies, and reasoned debate strengthen both democratic legitimacy and the safeguarding of universal rights.
