This Training Resource has been designed to provide an appropriate early response strategy for professional groups whose work may involve responding to children who live with family and domestic violence (FDV). The Resource can be used to provide very short skills exercises; deliver a short face to face program; give a lecture; guide a distance learning program; or become the basis for learning modules in further or higher education. The scope of its materials addresses the diverse work contexts of front line workers and supports different learning styles and delivery strategies.

This project was funded by the Commonwealth Government's Partnerships Against Domestic Violence (PADV2) initiative and specifically addresses the priority area of: further intervention to improve the wellbeing of children affected by domestic violence. The project's training materials are based on wide ranging consultation and research.
