Tibetan women's association presents this report to the United Nations and to the International women's community. In this report the present and examine the critical issues concerning the situation of Tibetan Women in Tibet, relevant to the Beijing platform for action. Specifically the issues that are of concern to Tibetan women are : violence against Tibetan women in Tibet, including gender specific torture and reproductive rights violations, discriminatory practices concerning Tibetan women and their employment and health care, human rights of Tibetan women as well as the status of the Tibetan girl child.
