From basic needs to basic right: women's claim to human rights
This book gathers together thoughts and experiences of women's rights activists and thinkers from the international women's rights community in the proccess of confronting this reality in order to engender human rights. It offers a snapshot in time of their struggle to "push the boundaries", to grapple with contemporary challenges to women's gidnity as human beings in order to articulate new interpretations of human rights and new strategies to make the system to respond.
