Women's Safety, Women's Voices
This article emphasizes the importance of women's safety by highlighting their voices and experiences as a basis for formulating protection policies and programs. The main focus lies on women's active participation in identifying risks, needs and solutions related to security in public and domestic spaces. Apart from that, it also discusses how community-based approaches and women's empowerment can increase the effectiveness of violence prevention efforts. By placing women's perspectives at the center, safety strategies become more inclusive, responsive and sustainable.
