Tsunami Aftermath: Violations of Women's Human Rights in Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam, Indonesia

This book examines the ongoing impact of the 2004 tsunami in Aceh, particularly on the fulfillment and violations of women's human rights. Although the tsunami is considered a natural disaster, the author shows that the post-disaster situation actually exacerbated women's vulnerabilities due to pre-existing gender inequalities.
