The Migration of domestic workers is one of the fastes growing phenomenain South, East and South east Asia, exaberbated by the tremendous push factors from poorer sending countries and the pull of richers receiving countries. In Sheer numbers, the problems associated with such large-scale migration warrants the recognition and protection of their rights as migrants and workers.
